i'm SPREADING THE WORD
i’m is an initiative from Windows Live Messenger. As per them, whenever someone starts a conversation using i'm, Microsoft would share a portion of the program's advertising revenue with a social organization of your choice (from within the list provided). Presently, the program is available for a select places and organizations. Moreover, there is no upper limit the amount that would be donated. So, if you do use the Windows Live Messenger to chat with your friends, please join now. You just need to put a code in front of your name in your messenger options. For e.g. to support UNICEF (US Fund) put *unicef in front of your name.

AirTel Advertisements and the Special Text
Here is the first advertisement:
This is the text in the advertisement. Do note the hidden meaning of each phrase!
Two wordsHere is the second one. Again note the text and its meaning:
Can bring down an empire
One dream can change the world
One raised finger
can break a billion hearts
Two can win a world war
A whisper
can inspire hop
A touch can instill faith
Some voices can move a nation
Some can dissolve boundaries
One act of defiance
can spark a revolution
One hundred thousand candles
can end a war
That's the power of human expression
Express yourself
Say yesHere is the final one. The text is in Hindi, however I am trying to give an appropriate translation as well:
Say no
Say something
Say nothing
Inspire
Conspire
Confess
Celebrate
Negotiate
Speak up
Speak out
Be heard
Express Yourself
(At least try to meet the eyes)
(At least try to make relations with new people)
(What shall you get by suppressing your emotions in your heart?)
(At least try to move your lips - try to talk)
(Since when silence started to fulfill the dreams?)
(At least show what is in your heart)
(Tell whatever you have in your heart)
(At least express yourself for once)
(Sky will come down in your hands)
(At least try to open your hands for it once)

Eye hie soo chaleche yaar,

Mare tho America javuche ne millionaire thavuche
Evu chai, thya su karse ena kartha aiya re
Thane kabar nathi pardthi, India maa kasu nathi
Lagan karis koni sathe
Mare pivuche, tho pivade ah navu pani
Tho jaa, pun maro dil tho resej Hindustani
Chorus
Maru dhil, my heart, maru loi, my blood from the start
Mari nath, my family two worlds apart,
How do I move on bhai,
Kevirithe jais, cuz no matter where I go,
My sould is in the same place
Nimo
dear bro its been a long time since we talked,
four years since I stepped off that plane, how’s mom and pops
as for me I’m workin’ hard learnin’ the ropes of the game
I went from a nobody to lots of fortune and some fame
In my own eyes, I think I’m doing really well,
Got lots of money so tell nobody to worry about my wealth
As for my health, well, it could be a little better
But take care of yourself, love your bro, I’ll storm through this weather
Swap
Maro bhai, mane lageche ke thane bho faveche
Saru tho jivan jivo pun thabyat kevi lageche
Mami ne papa ni yaad aveche ke bulighayo
Emni thabyat bagdeche jare thu pasai pache padigayo
Harigayo, ah jingi aveche ne jaiche
Saru to maro bhai, saro bhai, thu maro dhai chu,
Tho maro bhailu, thu maro dhil chu
Seni mate avirete jivan jivu chu
Nimo/Swap
Hello my brother how are you
Bhai kem che
You like my new suit just got it tailored Sergio valente
Ah mari vow meena ne apri baby chivani, besija kasu kah, cha, nasto ke pani
Here’s a gift for your wife, a baby doll for your girl,
I can’t wait till its my turn to bring a new life into this world
Tho lagan kyare karis, threes varus pathigaya
There’s no time for all that and I refuse to do a biodata
Family joyeche, pun lageche ke maligayo,
Thu ne thara paisa, tharo lagan thaygayo
Let it go, let it flow, I already know where I stand
What I have, my two hands, my one life and my fam
Aah vaat, kari che, ke thu kali kali boluchu,
Why do you keep on asking me this, you know that you know its true
Evu che? I guess that’s it…
Ave ooh America jochu..
No I would never let you go what I’ve gone through

Windows Live Writer
It's been a time since I tried to use a new software. Today I tried Windows Live Writer Beta for the first time.
Here are my comments from the first use. After first use, this seems to be a really useful tool for regular bloggers. You are saved from the effort of going to the website and writing your blog over thee. You can simply write the blog from the ease of your desktop and you're done!
The interface is Vista style (like all new Microsoft products), which is a very soothing style. The interface is also easy to use, and it has all the usual options that are found in a normal Rich Text Editor. The best part of the tool is the support of plugins. The tool supports the addition of new plugins, which makes it really powerful and extendable in future. Plugins are available to simplify the tasks like Table creation or source code insertion using a particular color coding.
One thing that I did not find is the ability to add link for the article (you can add links in your article, however, you can not add a link for your article), that is found in blogger. Similarly there may be few more features that are available only in a few particular products.
All in all, I found this to be a nice tool. This may have a few restrictions/limitations for now. However, I guess that this won't take too much time to recover them.

ENGLISH: Read / Write / Listen (comprehend) / Speak / Teach (in)
The second test, SPEAK, tests whether an international student is capable enough to speak in the American English or not. The last test was TEACH test, that tests if an international student is capable enough to teach in an American school using American English or not?
My result? Cleared all :)

Arrived in ISU, Ames
I met a lot of new people here. They have been really helpful and it is nice to see the way people help each other here. At least the first impression has really been impressive.
I would also like to give a special thank to all the members of ISA, who helped the new students acclimatize in the environment in the best possible manner possible. The old students here are really helpful and concerned about the new students. A big kudos to them all!

Update and Aazmaale Aazmaale
Since long time, I am not able to write on my personal blog much, though I have been writing on my other blogs occasionally. However, now I have decided that I shall try to write more frequently on on my personal blog too.
Here is an update of few of the things that have occupied me this time:
I have started using OpenID account finally. OpenID is a very good concept that lets you login to websites (that support OpenID) without going through the hurdles of registration. It is just like a master key for a lot of rooms. It also provides the usual registration details to those. To create your own OpenID account go to IWantMyOpenID.org.
I am also in process of updating the template for my blogs. I also decided to start using the Transliteration tool provided by blog. I am ending this entry with a very beautiful song from Taxi No 9211 (a Hindi movie that released in February 2006). The song is Aazmaale Aazmaale and the lyrics were written by Shekhar. Here is the song:
Aazmaale Aazmaale (Lyrics: Shekhar, Movie: Taxi No 9211)
